Review Content: Selling my mothers’ house to my daughter and partner, with subsequent potential investment of the money. Explained in detail various options of types of mortgage and companies available to suit personal circumstances. Organised and recommended solicitors to facilitate conveyance process. Initial preparation for investment of money received from house sale. Mortgage agreed and approved for my daughter and partner. Conveyance in progress, with expected completion on time, 6-8 weeks, mid August. What could they have done better? Quite frankly, I was totally satisfied with the service, prompt, home visit, regular communications and status – excellent professional service and advise.

Review Content:  I wanted advice on applying for a buy to let mortgage. Phil gave me some excellent advice on the best course of action for me following reviews of my business accounts and careful questioning of what I want my future to look like. He was very patient with my lack of real understanding of the products available and he also went the extra mile and liaised with my mortgage provider on my behalf when it became clear they were leading down a path that wasn’t exactly my requirements. My complete financial requirements are still being planned out but I’m very happy with my current situation, which is all thanks to Phil and his expertise.

Review Content:  We are buying a new house and wanted a let to buy mortgage on our current property to help fund the purchase. Philip understood our needs and our individual circumstances. He researched the market to find a product and mortgage provider that best suited our needs. He provided us with a choice of product and talked us through each of these so that we could make an informed choice about the one that suited us the most.He succeeded in finding us a mortgage where others had failed. Yes we have a mortgage that is right for us with a competitive rate. We had initially gone to Which mortgage service and they were unsuccessful and the service was very poor. Philip spends time getting to know us as clients. This plus his experience and the contacts he has in the industry are what made his help successful for us.  What could they have done better? I wouldn’t change a thing. We initially saw Philip for a mortgage. There has been no hard sell of other products. He listens and understands our level of financial competence and pitches his discussions at the right level. He is knowledgeable and experienced. He keeps in touch and keeps us informed of progress so that we do not have to chase. His customer service is excellent.

Review Content:  Whichever product Philip has advised us on or has implemented for us, he has always had our very best interests at the core of his decision making. He always takes into account your financial situation / constraints / restrictions and advises you on the best products to suit your needs. Phil’s explanations of each individual product to both myself and my wife in both complex and layman’s terms are exemplary. My wife and I would not be in the position we find ourselves now without Phil’s help, advice and guidance.  What could they have done better? Absolutely nothing. Outstanding service.

Review Content:  Philip has been a Financial Advisor for my family for a number of years, so it was only natural that when the time come that myself and my partner needed advice in this area that we should go to him. I so glad we did. When we were buying our first house we didn’t really have any idea where to begin, what the different types of mortgages were and even if we would be able to afford to get on the ladder. Philip is clearly an expert in his field with a wealth of knowledge but we liked the way he explained everything to us in a way that we could understand. He took our needs and then come up with a plan that suited us. He also guided us and help set up the relevant insurances and helped us to invest some money. Philip has always been available to give us advice over the phone whenever we need it and if he is busy he is very quick to get back to us. We went back to him when we wanted to sell our house and then buy the next one. Between that time we had our first baby and because Philip is also a Will writer we got those put in place so we have the peace of mind should anything ever happen. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Philip on any type of financial advice/planning and have done so many times. He’s not only our financial advisor but we also now consider him a family friend.  What could they have done better? We honestly couldn’t recommend anything as all our objectives are always met.

Review Content:  I do not know really where to start, he is just good at everything. mortgages he’s surpassed where others failed, his knowledge on how to invest our money has more than paid dividends. and for the job he does he is not greedy, he would rather have you as a long term customer not a one off customer. I should know he has been my adviser for app 20 years  What could they have done better? not a lot

Review Content:  We have known Phil for around 5 years now, and have used his services on a regular basis. We regularly meet to discuss our financial position and discuss our investments and savings, all of which was arranged and is overseen by Phil. Our mortgage was also organised and arranged by Phil and we are extremely happy with the overall service we receive. We also have various insurances in place which are designed to cover us given specific circumstances. Phil listens to you as a client. This enables him to tailor his services to your needs, rather than the high street brands which in my opinion just want to make a sale. We also like the fact that as an independent financial advisor, Phil has access to a wide variety of service providers/lenders which puts you, the consumer at a major advantage, as you have access to all the information eg mortgage rates, there and then. We have a fantastic working relationship, and have recommended Phil on numerous occasions to various friends and family.  What could they have done better? Whilst we appreciate criticism can be constructive, we genuinely cannot fault Phil or any of the services we have received.
